 I've had this external hard drive for a while now. When I first got it, I backed up my whole computer, then deleted the stuff that I felt I didn't need easy access to from the computer. After that, I just went on doing things as before.

Now I find the hard drive on the computer is nearly full. Fixing things up won't be as easy this time given the fact that some things are on one drive and some on the other. So it seems I'll be spending quite some time with 'my new best friend' as I try to sort out the mess I've made.

I like the sepia-like tones of this very much. Funny, from the thumbnail I thought it was a cigarette lighter, and imagined it was your new best friend because you were a heavy smoker!

Been there, done that. It is very confusing. You'll find that you can let a lot of things go just because it's easier than trying to figure out where to put what.

Great shot - it has a silky quality to both substances - the object and the surface on which it sits.

You lost me at, "external hard drive", as I'm a complete lost soul with computer stuff. But I like the detail and the contrasting textures.
