 My front yard in Scottsdale, AZ.
This is a 1947 Allis Chalmers Tractor that my husband transported from his uncle's farm in Kansas. It was the first motorized vehicle he ever drove, he says, and had a sentimental attachment to it.

Nice shot, maybe a tiny bit soft, but good. I can understand the attachment. My parents have my grandfather's tractor (a Ford of the same approximate vintage). Of course, they also live on the ranch he built with it, but I'd still want to have it if they didn't. :) (I photograph it, too.)

that is an awesome vehicle with some great tread on those tires! i love old rusty stuff! great history right in your yard!

I like the way you note that your husband "says" it has sentimental value for him. Not so much for you, hm? :o) I agree with the others that it looks like it has character, and since nothing really grows here, it's just as well you have that in your front yard instead of a bunch of flowers that require precious water.

I laughed so hard when I saw this, I almost choked! :) That tractor looks like it has to go potty :D The way the front 2 tires are positioned gives it character. Great POV!! hehe
