A play on the movie title "They Drive By Night," which I thought apropos since I took this while driving back from my grandfather's former house in Cloverdale.

Tone curve for contrast, cropped and rotated, sharpened a lot to try and compensate for the motion blur, glass blur, and probably camera shake as well.

Very evocative - it took me three viewings before I really saw the birds. I think it's because of the overall pattern of the clouds.

Just a little blurry and if the birds were what you were going for, I think I would have tried to zoom in more on them to make them more of a dominate feature than what they are here. The sky is very nice. You might also try to crop out the trees along the bottom as ther is not enough of them to be an important part but just enough to be a distraction. Hope this helps.

There is such wonderful drama in the sky! I wish the birds were in focus, but the composition is quite nice and a bit unique.

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure lighting composition all good. Focus seems too soft on the birds.

Personal: I really like the cloud formations, I can see why you took the shot. It appears to lack sharpness, however.

Nice silhouette on the birds. They seem a bit fuzzy maybe. Not sure this is "after Dark" when you can still see the sunset. Good color on the sky.

Love the sky. Really beautiful. The birds and the pole seem to be a bit soft on the focus though. that would be my only suggestion would be that I wish they were a bit more crisp. Otherwise, a really pretty shot. I like how you put the pole to one side, and not directly in the middle of the shot. Definately makes a difference on how this looks. nice find. ~Heather~

The clouds are good, the power lines have good leading lines, but the picture is badly out of focus.
