The yellow of the flower stands out nicely amid the dark greens surrounding it. The moss on the trees provides a good added feature. I find the little lighter brown patch in the upper right side to be a little distracting.

It is grass. Here is a 100% crop. Teresa is right.

I believe the specks are grass seed on the ends of the grass stalks. I love how the light brings your eye to the tiny hidden gem in the greens.
