A little more focus would make this even better. Great shot!

THe sky makes this shot, all the way. Interesting lighting on the bulidings or whatever kind of structures they are. This might be just a half stop or a stop under, which would leave it just a little brighter than what I'd like to see. but definitely a good shot. 8

Almost abstract. The movement of the clouds/smoke makes a great background. I like how bright the lights are, and the golden color.

Exceptionally well executed, high interest. Perfectly exposed. the blurred smoke is a perfect counterpoint to the perfect crispness of the... um, I'm guessing... refinery?

Great shot. I like the light of the oil refinery, but what really does it for me is the motion in the clouds. Very well done. Only comment would be to crop just slightly on the left, cropping out that taller tower, and perhaps a little black off the top. But that's just reaaly being picky. Great shot! One of my favs. 10

I personaly like to look at these bright shinning plants very much: can't take my eyes from them when I pass by.
This picture stands out for its brilliance, the lights come out almost like diamonds. I like the clouds in the back, they give a wonderfull background.
Acctually I was planning to make a simillar image too (not of such a great plant though) and the title would have been also "Nightshift".
Good luck to you.

Interesting shot. Love these industrial shots, this one is super. I used to visit plants with my dad as a kid and saw many places just like this. 9-from me.

I worked at a refinery for 8 years and this does appeal to me. I like the color and the reflections in the clouds. The image is not pin sharp, it does seem to suffer from compression, for example jagged edges on the big cooling tower on the right.

NIce use of a long exposure. I imagine your f stop was pretty tight for this shot! I like the effect.

Almost looks like a crystal palace. I might have cropped alittle more off the bottom, but great shot.

Overall interest : 2/3
Technical : 3/3
Challenge meeting : 2/2 (the same scene at day should probably be boring)

This captures the feel of an industrial plant. The reddish light on the clouds makes a great background.
