This is my daughter. She always looks adorable in yellow I think :) hehe I love to take her picture. She goes where you tell her to and doesn't move until you tell her she can. In the mean time, she makes cute faces and plays right where she is standing or sitting. I couldn't have created a better model :) I have NO idea where those catchlights came from and I am hoping I can repeat it somehow, someway!! :)

I told her this picture was for Daddy and she smelled the daisy just like she was supposed to. She is missing him bad I think.

This was shot handheld under a tree with a gold reflector just behind me and a hair to my left held by my middle son. I tried for a dreamy look in photoshop with a white layer on soft light with a low opacity. I erased out a little of her eyes so they wouldn't wash out with the white.

I LOVE this photograph! I wanted to tell you that I did a watercolor of it. I would like to send you a picture of what I've done; if it's cool with you?

This is so sweet and so pretty. If your husband is in Iraq, you might not want to send him this -- he may want to go AWOL after he sees it (just kidding, but you know what I mean).

Very nicely done with the soft layer, and you handled the eyes beautifully.

ooooh, ahhh. I've never seen anyone look so good/adorable in yellow. I think you should save this for free study, it's wonderful! :)

Heh what was that word you used for my pic - "beautimus"? Love that word and think it is way appropriate here. As always, your daughter is just a gorgeous model and I love the hat! Perfect here. Yellow flower - awesome addition.

What I love about this challenge is to read the personal glimpses that are attached to each moment. I'm sure you all are missing daddy right now. Still saying prayers of protection for him. And it's great that you are capturing these mementos for him while he is gone.

Really sweet casual portrait. Thanks for sharing the way you got that wonderful soft look. I will definitely use it. So, is her daddy away in Iraq? I feel for you on that one. I will say a prayer for all of you.

Love the subtle aspects of this shot. Everything seems to be just a little soft, the colours are just a little below the poppy sort of colours you'd expect, it's amazing!

Again a sot focus, but who could object to that given the subject. Lovely muted colours which added to the focus and your daughters wistful expression gives a real dream like feel to the shot

This is so ADORABLE! You have got the cutest little girl. :) Those catchlights are great too. Good job on the processing. I may try that white layer thing.

pretty and dreamy -- thanks for sharing your post-processing steps, too. What a lovely little girl, and kudos to her for being a helpful model. (I usually get stuck-out tongues from my two kids these days ;-).

Great job as usual ma'am!!! You know that little angel always makes for a terrific portrait! (could the catchlights be from the white petals of the daisy?)

regardless, i almost wish you'd consider having miss isa become a 'baby model' - WAY too adorable!

Well the catchlights are great. I would've taken credit for them though ;) And the dreamy PS look is great, I thought you'd used a soft focus filter or something.
