This was taken at Saxton Falls on the Musconetcong River in NJ. The dam here was originally built for the Morris Canal (1831 to 1924).

Two things I think take away from a potentially great shot. Fist is the 'polaroid' frame that you put on it (uneven at top and bottom) and the second is the lack of fishing line. I can kind of see it going up the rod but don't really see it going into the water. Being translucent like fishing line is, I don't have any pointers into how to make it show up.

Not sure about the uneven border. I don't really think this shot requires a border at all especially one so thick. Remember, the purpose of a border is to "contain" the image. The trees form a nice natural border in this shot so an extra one isn't needed.
