 This was a beautiful hike in the central Cascades near a small town named Leavenworth, WA. I just love how the lines from the reflections of the mountains in the lake take you "into" the valley.

I am not 100% sure if this is a land/sea shot in respects to how the rules for this challenge are written. This lake is not what I consider a "large" lake...I hope the perspective doen't make it look so.

When I took it, I was shooting for a landscape shot. :)

Did you actually read them..or do you have some reason for trying to find a fault in everything to do with me or this image. Considering you are being the least helpful, I find it "curious" as to what you are hoping the get from or add by your comments...


This would be an awesome shot if it weren't so dark.

very beautiful picture. good framing. I wish the rock would be a little more visible as an anchor point and not melt into the reflection

To me this so obviously does not meet the challenge of Land (not sea) that I couldn't justify giving it a higher score. It is a nice picture however.

Good composition, has a real feeling of depth. Not sure it fits the brief though -"no oceans or giant lakes..."

In this picture my focus is on the water (sea). It is a good picture but in my opinion, does not meet the challenge. Also, the faciling hills are too dark and lose definition.

Nice but the amount of water and ts effect keeps it from meeting the Landscape challenge.
