edit: I disagree with some of the comments about the technicals of the shot. There are compositional guidelines, not laws of the universe. I played with a variety of crops for this shot.
Don't ya just hate it when people quote you technicals out of some photography book they read. Or maybe someone told them that's how it should be so that must be the way it is, no deviation of the rules are excepted.
BTW, nice shot.

Great shot and "dreamy" look. I would have liked to see this with the blurry trees on the left cropped out. This would have taken the deer and put him off center also.

Nice fawn and nice forest..but too much blur added to the trees and the fawn is too small and centered. |
