Well done! I think the rough contrast gives the photo a feel that it's a "dirty job", but someone has to do it!

Hahaha, great idea! I like the story the photo tells. It seems like the flash properly exposed the paper, and underexposed the man. Frontal flash, especially the built in ones tend to do that to shots. Id try retaking this shot, and playing with the lighting a little. (if you dont have any external flashes, go with a cheap worklight or office light reflected off a white board to fill his face, and you will be amazed at the difference)

Cute setup. Main subject is a bit dark though (hard to do with strong back lighting and the flash tryign to fight it out)

fun creative shot! the lighting is just off though, maybe try doing some using the natural light from the window casting the light on the subject instead of lighting from behind

The brightness of the paper really offsets the darkness of the man. I'm honestly not sure what to think of it. It does draw my attention to that point, which I feel was your point, but I almost wish I could better understand the expression in his face.

I thought I was the only one that gets lists! There were 10 things on mine today (my day off)... :-)

as for the image, perhaps the lighting/flash is a little harsh, and it does look quite staged, but the idea is good

Oh I feel your pain!Lighting is just a bit off, the paper is too bright and you are too dark under the chin.
