 I took only 3 shots, thats a huge rainstorm approaching and everone heading for cover. Shoved my camera in a waterproof bag and got completly soaked on the 1/4 mile walk back (no waterproofing for Me only for my gear). It's not really processed that much, mostly just that amazing sky with light and shadow you get just before a storm hits.
PP: PPSX, straightened, levels for a bit more contrast, clarify to clarify a bit, a SLIGHT shift in color balance to blue, the sky was already a blue/gray and USM. Cloned out a little sensor dust... got to clean that sensor!
Happy with my score I usually stink in free study

Charmayne!!!! I'm with Judy! This is such an OUTSTANDING photo!!! How in the world is this not on the front page.

I love the dramatic feel the high contrast gives this -- and I LOOVE the perspective of the tiny little beach players in the distance.

I agree. The voters truly let you down on this one!

I am in total disbelief. This is the most beautiful shot. It has everything going for it and 54th???? blchhhh to all the voters. This deserved a ribbon.

Great processing. Not sure that I like the grainy feel to this, but that is my opinion only. I would like to see how this shot started out to see just how much work was involved in this finished product. Nice work
