Like the subject but would like to see sharper overall image.

A little more depth of field would have helped my scoring. The loss of DOF on the thimble is distracting.

The thimble is out of focus to the point that it really detracts from the overall image.

Interesting composition. A little greater DOF would work better for this image, IMO

My only complant is that the thimble is a bit out of focus and well, I guess I have two, the table doesn't go well with this shot.

too much subject matter is out of focus for me...

is a really weird focal point... i like the shot.. the focus is throwing me off

Sorry I find the whole thing to be just a little too out of focus

Nice idea, but I'd rather have the thimble in focus rather than the head of the pin.

I am not entirely sure what was intended to be the main subject in this shot. Perhaps it was the pin, perhaps the thimble. Part of the thimble is in focus along with the pin and this is where I am unsure.

Your focus looks a little off and the depth of field is very small. The front edge of the thimble is out of focus but the 'sides' appear to be sharp.

Composition is good and I like the close up of the object.

i think it would have been a nicer shot if you had deepend the focus a little.. enough to get the whole thimble in focus
