Shot through a glass barrier. Probably a good thing for me.If it had of been safe to get in the caged pen with him, I would have loved to of done it. He is such a natural poser.

For anyone wondering how I managed to get this effect of the face perfectly in focus & the legs blurred & I'm sure there is someone out there because I had to get this validated. It is a simple panning technique with selective focus points on the view finder & selecting a slow speed of 1/20th of a second.

I really liked this photograph but as fir3bird so aptly put it, the effect would have worked a whole lot better in landscape as opposed to portrait.

Nice sharp face. I can't help wondering if you had enough crop to make this a horizontal and give her more room to run. But.... perhaps you used selective blurring to give the impression of speed. If so, even more important to give room for movement. IMHO. Great image.
