The Snow Birds.
Post Processing:
- With 1 RAW file opened 3 images with different exposures, saved as .tif and generated HDR in Photomatix, tone maped, levels, curves, hue/saturation (decreased saturation
- With the same RAW file opened with increasing Blacks and Contrast highly and increasing the saturation and luminosity of the reds
- Masked off the ground from the HDR and the sky from the high Black, high Contast image using a gradiant and trace around trees on island
- Flaten Image and change hue and decrease saturation in cyans, increase exposure slightly, burn smoke, clone dust, Neat Image, resize, USM, border |

| I like the effect here, of small items sharply seen, of a large scene made small. Nothing pushes me beyond that, however, or draws me into this particular example of the effect. I didn't vote in this challenge, but this a typical "6" for me. |

| note a bad photo. But the trees look terrible (sorry). Not sure if they were over-sharpened or jsut harsh sunlight. |
