Very nice shot. Perfect focus on this one. Was it cropped at all? If so, maybe try and leave some extra on the sides. Just my opinion, this is still very good though.

Great use of DOF and love the light and detail on the back of the owl! :o) I am wondering what a closer group on the face would look like here?

Whoa, this has amazinly sharp detail. What a stunning capture. Love the lighting and the catch light in the owl's eyes. The colors are so natural, yet very beautiful. Your tones are perfect. Your DOF choice is excellent. I like how the blurred red in the bokeh helps bring out the orange-red of the owl's eyes. Bravo!!
