 This was a wild show. Joe Buck is a crazy wild freak playing a scary mix of rock-a-billy, punk, and hillbilly metal. He started out with Hank Williams III's band playing stand up bass. I caught his solo act at the Cave in Chapel Hill, NC which is a great small venue. He produces a unque sound with just a guitar, bass drum and vocals.

one humble advice.. please avoid using your in-camera forced flash unless until you are looking for a snapshot alone. your performer looks a bit scary with those red eyes (when shooting people in low light conditions, use a fill flash or atleast use red eye reduction).

The first one in my random display of photos. I'm glad people didn't stick with the Forums idea that solo meant only one object in the picture, and can be interpreted in any way. Here it's a solo performer. Good capture of the performer's intensity. The camera flash is very harsh on subject, background and shadows. Very cluttered picture, but that's an indication of the layout of the venue, which has lots of character.
