 A couple strawberries in my back yard. One shriveled and dead, the other ripe and full of life.

Editing (PS CS2):
minor whitebalance adjustment
unsharp mask
levels, just to darken the shadows a little
increased saturation and lightness of reds to make the strawberry stand out
cropped width
resize, add frame
save for web
