 Pretty obvious what it is, one of those pull and pop firecrackers. I tried getting some shots as it was coming out of the canister but couldn't get it to come out the way I envisioned. As far as editing goes, I did some minor cropping, color balance, and level adjustments.

Decrease the brightness just a bit, and increase the contrast, and the colors here become even more vibrant. Great idea for the challenge.

too cowded, pastel colors to my taste :/

The shot is good but IMO a little flat. The colours don't jump out at you.
