I can relate! I like the sky, although its a bit noisy; and, the contrast of the dismal grays with the bright greens, dead tree and live trees. I can see pixels in the vegetation as well (maybe over sharpened?). This would be a great photo if it were just more crisp/less noisy.

In the doorway? Nice impactful processing.

Someones dreamhouse broken down and abandoned. I love old buildings they have so much character. Even the overcast sky adds to this shot in some strange way. I'm not really sure on Waldo here. I'm gonna make two guesses. He's either somehow part of that orange blob on the left side of the silo thingy or he's the silhouette in the door. Not sure which.

I wanna see 'Waldo' but I can't. Can you send me a hint? I really like the photo so for now I guess I'll go with an 8. If I find 'Waldo', I'll bump it to 10. Ok, my son say's he's standing in the doorway, I think I can see legs (with a magnifying glass!) so I'll bump it to 9.

Of the twenty or so I have viewed so far, the first to really meet the challenge as I understood it. And a damned fine photograph to boot.

How depressing for Waldo :-( I might like the composition less centered but I think the processing works well for the subject.

Great choice of subject, nicely meeting the challenge but not making all the choices based on Waldo. I might have preferred the house a bit less centered, but depending on the shot (ie, what's left or right of the house) that may or may not have worked. The subdued tones throughout this are delightful, and the overall feel is one of abandonment and loss, which is quite strong throughout the image. Nicely done.

Looks a little heavy on the processing to me -- the greens and yellows are a bit bright, and it is just edgier than I prefer (just a personal thing).

Lovely, a waldo that actually compliments the picture, love the pose against the doorframe, kind brings to mind someone who might have known this building in better days and is now contemplating/rueing the passing years

Well, it is quite sad to see "Waldo" standing in the doorway of the dreams. Great impact, imo. I love the processing in this. Wonderfully executed.

Great job hiding waldo in the silhouette. I like the composition and the sky looks incredible. Maybe a slight rotation CW would have helped, or maybe its just the way the house is on the foundation. However its a great shot with just the right amount of contrast and color. Sharpness is also right on the money. Nice work. Back to bump score.

I know the challenge is to 'hide' the person, but I'd actually like to see them a little more clearly, so when you find them, it's more obviously a person, perhaps standing clear of the doorframe, and a slightly higher camera point, to get the light surrounding. Other than that, a good idea, and a nice photo.
