I still like this photo, it has more emotion than thousands of flowers and sunsets, it's human.

Indeed, it is colourful! See, the rules say that you can't shoot a portrait with eyes closed; but, brake the rules and you get a mini masterpiece.

Very colorful and I like the depth of field. Just not a fan of the "up the nostrils" perspective.

Some fill-flash can really help control shadows in bright sunlight, takes a little practice to get right though.

Too dark and the colors don't seem as saturated and bright as they could be.
