 This was just luck, i know this is my third challenge entry at this location but i want to milk this wonderful place for all its worth, and i just keep finding such wonderful moments here. I was driving home from the store and stopped by because I know it was sunset and I wanted to see if there was anything nice there. I noticed a truck on the shore and I knew it had to be a fisherman and after realizing he wasnt on shore I saw him out in his boat. I waited out in the cold (cold front its really cold here right now) until the sun got a little lower and snapped some shots from on top of my car. I had a couple versions and even though this one did not have as much water in it as i would have liked I loved that it had the storm cloud on top whiched helped to balance the darkness in the trees. Post processing was simple, I brought up the contrast and just used the selective color tool in photoshop to work on colors. Then USM and neatimage and I was done.

The subject of the photo leaves a little to be desired (too small/undefined, sharpening seems to have created a halo, yet still a little blurry). I think this could have been better if zoomed in to capture the fisherman in greater detail while still picking up the bright yellow portion of the sky and gray storm clouds.

This seems more like a shoe horn to get an ok sunset shot into a challenge, but hey..more power to ya! ;-)
