 Found this lonely flower on my way home from work in the middle of the parking lot in front of my apartment. Glad I caught it before someone (like me) accidentally stepped on it. I shot this right before the sun set, and I was going to try some more photos the next day after work for better lighting (morning light wouldn't work, it was the wrong angle). I leave my apartment around 9:30 AM to see a guy spraying weed killer everywhere, and by the time I get back from work around 6 PM, the flower is already shriveled up and dead. At least I caught it while I had the chance, though I probably could have gotten a nicer shot if I had a little more time.

No cropping done. Only editing was increasing the brightness a titch.
