 A friend has a homebuilt plane that I really want to learn to fly. He calls it the See Gull, Posted on my home page is a shot of the Hang Glider I used to soar with MANY moons ago. It was called the Seagull, hence the inspiration for the picture. White Balance was set for Speedlight... levels were globally tweaked a bit for truer colors.

Thank You for the positive feedback. I'm pleased with the votes you gave me. Oddly I voted 14 pictures higher than mine that finished lower and I voted 14 pictures lower than mine that finished higher.... Go figure. I plan on posting a 'repaired' version of this picture in my portfolio.

nice capture, pity about the blurred black under the sitting gulls tail :(

Thanks for the PM--- looking back on this i can see what you did and it's very interesting-- that's really cool how you go the birds in flight like that. Plus the roof's a great color :D

Very nice photo. The title for a NYR to me is unrealistic unless you mean to fly a plane/aircraft. The capture of the birds is well done though. 7

Very nice photo ... dark smudges around the lower bird are a little distracting, but otherwise, very nice composition and title!

Great photo, great contrast of red roof and bird color. Are there shadows by the first that's on the roof or is it me? I think I'd try to get those out and take away a little of the top sky. Still I like photo a lot.

Great capture on the birds, I like them as the subject for your resolution. I only wish the blur of the tree branches weren't in there. Nice work
