I received a few comments regarding the tight cropping of this picture and it is something I agonised over before submitting.
I tried various permutations before deciding to go with this one.
On reflection, I might have added a little on the right of the picture but not on the left as the moon tended to look isolated in that set up.
I wanted to give the impression of the aeroplane trying to get out the shot..which is why it ended up like this.
Thanks to all who commented and voted on it..much appreciated.

| There seems to be too much empty space to me and unfortunely the plane is too close to the edge and very tiny. I like the idea and the blue background. |

| Nice capture, great color and light. Right is cropped a little tight. I think the border is a little heavy. Sorry not being picky...I hope. lol Good shot and good luck in the challenge. 8 from me. |

very nice composition. i have seen this many times myself but when the plane is right next to the moon, never have my camera to hand though.
Shame it's so small, you'll get marked down for that by a lot of voters. |
