 This is actualy a corkscrew just taken at an end view.
I was struggling to get focus with my small compact but I thouhgt I would give it a go.

No idea. Part of a shell maybe? I wish it were more in focus, this could be a very good abstract with better focus and if it weren't blown out on the top.

possibly a wine cork screw opener thingy. You know with the flailing arms. top edge of the circle is over exposed and too bright for me. not too sure about the square crop either. 5

You puzzled me! I have no clue what this is. Unfortunately, the photo has some issues. Using the max size of 640 px on the longest side always helps. I'm not sure what sort of processing has been done here, but it looks bad. I do really like the composition. At a larger size and not processed strangely I would like this.
