so-so negative space, great picture.
now that I think about it, the bird's intrusion into the negative space does a remarkable job of dividing it up... so the light parts are "negative" and the black parts are "positive". now, that can be switched around, but such is often the case for good negative space. |

Love it, especially the centered composition and the diagonal lines cutting the picture. Lends a sense of chaos to it, which contrasts with the pure simplicity of the black crow on the white ground. |

I like this. I'd probably like it better if you hadn't included the trees etc - but simply cropping them off would throw the composition out of wack. 7. |

Dead center of the shot doesn't show him off very well imo. |

Simple textures. Nice. Perhaps crop a bit so bird is not directly in the middle. |

It is those silhouetted trees that make this image for me; like Easter Island statues, or like hieroglyphics, almost like numbers also. Very fine work. |

I like the b/w but the bird is right in the center of the picture. Next time, try the rule of thirds. IMO 6 |

I love the minimalism without it being just blank space. I like the lines created by the curb and the pavers. The hint of trees adds a nice textural variant. Too bad you couldn't clone out that white dot in the background. |
