I think it is just a little bit oversharpened. There are jpeg artifacts in it. Maybe you could've used Neat Image to smooth it out a little. Good idea and composition.

What's that in the upper right corner. The white balance also seems to be off here. I think the photo has also been overly sharpened, producing those nasty jaggies.

Looks like a lot of catching up to do. Your white balance appears off a bit. Would prefer not having that shadow. A solid black background might have been better. A tighter crop would have eliminated spot in the top right corner.

This pic is lacking something in the sharpness, I don't know why but I can see it aroun the edges of the books.

Think this composition has been done before, but you should have had the spine of the books facing the viewer. Also, appears to be a low resolution shot or jpeg artifacts present.

the black in the upper right hand corner is destracting.

The effect used here is a little jarring.

Looks like the jagged edges showed up when you reduced the size of the photo.

good angle, but image has bad compression.

Looks like you have your work cut out for you. The lighting could stand to be a bit better in this shot, also I would have cropped out the distracting line in the top right corner of the shot. 4
