Acording to the title, the focus of your image is the ring in the middle of the rose and having it dead center of the image doesn't help imo. It also looks like the focus was clear on the bg but not on the subject (the ring and the rose). Possible ways to make this image better IMO is to have the crop more up and to the right so that the rose is even not all in the shot but so that the ring is in the lower left two thirds position and having more of the satiny bg in the shot. Having the ring more in focus would also help. |

This strikes me more as just an item on a backdrop than any sort of negative space. Personally, I'm not too fond of waterdrops on flowers in a studio setting either because it just doesn't make sense. |

Great colors and detail. You lighting is very good for this. I like the background drape. Well done. |

The visible foldings of the sheets confuse the negative space. One gets a sense of overall texture rather than positive v. negative space. This isn't a bad thing, but it doesn't meet the challenge. |
