Okay, I'm going to hold out and see if we don't get a couple of disqualifications. If not, then I guess I'll need a list... ;-) Very nice setup, Alex, and excellent processing.

A bit overprocessed for my taste but I'm sure the voters here like it.

Great concept, but I have a couple of problems with it. I don't like how the shadows are going in two different directions. The guy in the photo looks overprocessed. |

Not realy keen on this type of editing, the composition is great and the green to yellow colours are good as well. Goodluck |

I like the dynamics between the man and the tree. They contrast with eachother, but work together as well. |

The most striking thing here is the colours and the post processing. doesn't seem particularly natural, but it is effective. the kind of halo thing around his head is a little strange, and his clothing is at odds with the environment - a little too Gap, and possibly a bit too air brushed / neat imaged.
the location is startingly captured; i love the grass dotted with daisies, the tree is very nice and provides a great focal point, and the composition overall is spiffing. the sky, albeit dynamic, seems a bit pink and fluffy, thereby reducing the ominous potential a tad...
a strange but appealing image.
My First Weighted Scoring System ΓΆ„ΒΆ; composition + technical 2.5/3, challenge 1/1, post processing results 1.5/2, ooooh factor 3/3, originality 1/1 = 9 |

Nice crop, nice angle. The sky looks fantastic & nice exposure on the grass.
Pity about the gay looking bloke in the foreground, totally spoils it for me. 8 |
