I did not remove the background- it was shot against a hazy sky and I had to overexpose by two stops to get the shot.
Crop, levels, Hue/ sat, selective color, resize, unsharp mask.

Wow. Now that is very cool!! You timed that shot just right to catch him right in the middle. The only thing I can think of that would make this better is the color of the bg. Maybe a blue tint to it? But doing something like that in basic would also change the skin tone which wouldn't look good I suppose. Nice shot. bump

Great capture and comp. I also like the subtlety in the contrast between the apparatus and the sky.

Oh that makes my heart skip a beat. Wow! Great capture and stop in motion. I like the composition and clarity of the white on white. Nicely done.
