This was actually taken with my mother's telephoto lens, this is the first day I've really gotten to mess around with it. We went to a rehabilitation center for injured wildlife and I snapped a picture of this blacktail deer.

The picture has been slightly lightened and contrast adjusted, as well as a little burn/dodge to make him pop a little more. Nothing too bad, didn't even have to crop it.

Shame about the fence.
Makes it seem not real.

Good luck

The lighting being behind the deer really hurt this shot. If it were possible to take this with the light coming from the side, or behind you, it would have improved this a lot.

Subject seems pretty dark, and the bkg fence takes away from the majesty of the shot. Nice and sharp, though.
