Although closely related, it isn't really a spider. It's a harvestman of the order Opilones. They don't bite and they even eat Black Widows...and statements like the one I just made are the reason that my friends think I'm weird.
I really love everything about this image: the detail, shallow depth of field, diagonal composition and beautiful warm tones. Nice work. |

Nice one. Sometimes it is difficult to get sharpness just right, but you've done a pretty good job. The composition is wonderful. |

It's a daddy long-legs ! Harmless- great photo of him/her and the fence board is a bit too sharp- you wanted the focus on your friend :) But he is very sharp too so I just don't think it matters ! |

I really love the composition of this and the textures. It makes me feel like I could reach out and touch that fence. I like that the spider's walking away from me too :)) |

Wow, Amazing detail and neat compositin! The fence in the foreground does look a little oversharpened to my eyes. Great Capture!! |

The composition is nice the board being on an angle or it's the way u shot this .. The legs clearly depicted and i wouldn't see the board as over sharpened looks very natural..
Nice Macro.. |

No, it's not too sharpen. Otherwise I don't think that you could capture the spider's nice "legs". |

Excellent macro of the spider. I'll have to learn about layers and sharpening just an object also. |

Okay..thanks for the advice. I've never done layers before. I'll play around. I thought it looked too sharpened and a tad too dark. |

I like it though I do think the board beneath the spider looks a bit over sharpened. Maybe just sharpen the spider, it look great and leave the background unsharpened. Still a cool photo! |
