Just for fun. Obviously meant to be a spoof of arnit's cool "Caught Up" pic . Nowhere near the same quality image of course!

Hung poster paper for the back. Rings made of the same paper. My daughter had a blast wearing her ring! Shot outside in the shade. Self portrait and I held two Home Depot clamp lamps with full spectrum bulbs - shining the light onto the backdrop. Not good enough lights to make the cool effect of arnit's shot but they were really cheap! : )

Shot in RAW - RAW conversions. Elements - crop, clone, blur, selective color, hue/sat, curves, levels, neat image, burn/dodge, soft light, USM, high pass sharpen, border, save for web. Phew!

OH! Now come one, this should have gotten such a better score!!! I love it! :) All these spoofs off Arnit's "Caught Up" picture are just classic - and this one is an especially creative twist. Great shot!

I get what you were going for, but it just looks like a guy with tape around his head...

The colours and composition of this is striking. It's also quite a witty take on a slightly overused but staple of DPC idea. the problem i have with it (one that is the result of the type of challenge) is that the person appears to largely lack personality and feels a bit too detached and cold to me; incredibly tongue in cheek though, and the initial smile it got from me earns it a good score. technically nice too.

My First Weighted Scoring System ΓΆ„ΒΆ; composition + technical 2.5/3, challenge 1/1, post processing results 1.5/2, ooooh factor 2/3, originality 0.5/1 = 7.5 (rounded to 8)

Not too sure about the title (but that may be just me being stupid) I do like the concept though, very interesting take on the challenge

Totally needs to be a tryptich with the other two (even though the photographers are different, I think)! The blue would really go together well with the pink and green.
