Thanks to all who commented. I had this Escher-like idea for most of the challenge but didn't execute until the night before the deadline. A great idea but, unfortunately, not executed as well as it could have been. |

This is a great idea but it's missing some kind of punch or something needs to be done to make something just pop out of the pic. I'm thinking that if you did a little something different with the lighting? Lol I have no idea. I really just wanted to say - good job with the creativity for the transition. |

I hate to think this is an intentional effort for a brown, although it seems that many chess shots in the challenges (ie from WhiteRook) are for that purpose alone. There in fact maybe some interesting idea here but unfortunately I don't see it ( I do get the drawing representing the Board "morphing" to a 3D board). Hope you get out of this what you want though.

the white rook! i think this is too good for the rookster himself, though. this lacks his characteristic "ISO 1000000" look to it... |
