 This photo is a picture of a blue shower "puff." You know one of those things that costs 97 cents at walmart?

I used my Nikon 50mm 1.8 reversed on a Nikon 70-300G mounted to my D70. Shot with two desk lamps 6 inches away from subject.

Post Processing:
1. Auto Levels
2. Cropped about 30% of original off
3. Neat Image

5. Neat Image
6. Save for web

the lighting/focus is almost distrating, but the coolness and smoothness are lovely. is it glass?

Great idea. I have no clue what it is. I like the color and lighting in general, but the blown whites in the middle are distracting.

Looks like a plastic comb to me. I like the composition and even the vignetting works for me.

pretty coloring.. looks like branches of some form of plant life that you've changed the hue.. but, i'm totally stumped.. great job.. 6

Cool! Looks like spun glass but it's probably plastic fibes of some sort. Could use just a tad more dof maybe?
