 Paying homage to one of my favoritist photogs. This is a retake by the same name in the first Transition Challenge.



Oh yea, did I mention it was me? :)

Thought it might be interesting to compare. I have no doubt this shot is much better than the first one, but the first one scored a 6.0. I very seriously doubt this one will top 5.4. Voting is that much more vicious, now, and it is that more more difficult to score well.

That is not a bad thing. It pushes me to be better.

Fun! The blue background helps the popcorn "pop"! I like this a lot!

Really interesting comparison. You sure nailed the composition and lighting here. For this kind of shot, it just looks a tad too dark on my screen.

Oh how dare you! I love popcorn and this image is so sharp and pleasant to look out, I swear I can smell it! Must go pop popcorn!

I like the idea. It looks a little too grey for me. This has much more potential if you had boosted the great colours you have in this pic. Good luck.

I like the play with DOF but I would have liked it better if the focus plane was not in the empty space.
