I hope this looks better with the blurred background. Is the tree a distraction? This lacks uummph!

Awesome revision! Blur is nice. If you stroked a border in it might put some more uummph! in it.

The tree makes it a litte busy; but I like the BOKEH and colors.

Awesome "bokeh" in this one, and I also love the bright colors of the wind chime.....

I think it's much more appealing like this and I don't think that the tree is a big distraction. If you think it needs more ump I would maybe try burning or darking the background in a duplicate layer and then paint the chimes back to their bright colors, but that's if you think it needs more umph.

I'm so glad you decided to reshoot this one! This is a huge improvement over your first windchime photo! Getting rid of the roof and blurring the background are both helpful. I think the lighting for this shot is nicer too... or maybe it's just the wb? You say it still lacks uummph... what about a bit of vignetting around the edge, or an extra bit of sharpening on the windchimes? Or even adding a bit of extra blur to the trees to make the chimes stand out more? Just some ideas... but I think this is lovely the way it is :)

I think the blurred background beautifully sets up the shot of the warm colors. Nice job. The colors are great.

You brought out the colors on the wind chime beautifully! I don't find the tree distracting and I like the blurred background.
