 There were two of my favorite cows lying down in the field of "mexican hats." I had to crop it rather tightly at the top because of a tree "growing out of her head." I couldn't do it any other way and capture the look of peacefulness. I liked how her coloration matched her surroundings.

I don't think it's prize winning, but I hope you enjoy. It certainly brought a smile to my face. ;~D

LOL Judy when I was going through voting on pure I saw this and was almost tempted to send you a message knowing you love of cows, but then got worried that it might be considered inappropriate during a challenge...Now I find out there was no need as you had taken it

Lovely shot super rich browns and a wonderful pov with the cow 'disappearing' into the grass

Nice study in textures and colours. I'd have liked it if you'd given the cow even less space in your composition placing it at the top left of your frame. As a rule, you should aim to have humans and animals facing into negative space.
