A newborn Doberman puppy, that was seperated from his mother cause he was ill. He was such a joy to take care of! He passed away shortly after photograph was taken. :(

Editting: crop, border, saturation, contrast.

Ok, to all that posted about the puppy, being dead. He was not dead when I took the picture. He passed away shortly after though. That's why it was called Pure Sadness. Thanks for your votes and comments!

Unless this puppy is dead, I don't see what's sad about it. Jeez, I hope it's not dead - that would be kind of morbid. You see, the title is throwing me. The image itself is sweet, well crafted. Frame works well with it.

IMO, depth DOF is to shallow making the nose be soft. Good composition and lighting.
