I could not justify or consider plants as objects, since they are alive, but there have been a few in "ordinary objects", however, I think many florals can be and are a still life.
"Garden Weed" by chaimelle is a interesting example of an ordinary plant, and to an extent she has turned it into an object, especially by her use of colour. I see "bonsai" by GinaRothfels, another plant foto, transformed to object by use of silhouette. goodman's "bottles" uses a live bloom in the composition, but the tulip in the bottle (her first self proclaimed "flower" pic) is classic still life.

My ordinary weed/grass foto has a more natural colour & environ, and is submitted as common in spirit to pcody's peony "nikon 010sm1.jpg" and to chaimelle for her "Garden Weed".

I just love shooting weeds and flowers and foliage. This was beautifully rendered. It's an ordinary object in nature! Nicely done.

Love the sharp detail against the nice bokeh. Works well. I don't mind garden, flower and weed images. They are around our home and I plan on using one or two images myself!!!

Weeds could be considered objects. I object to them being in my garden. I like this weed though. Yellow weeds always look so happy.

That's a beautiful weed. Love the bokeh.

Never really thought about it but I guess plants shouldn't fit into ordinary objects. And I've already done two of them!

In the thumbnail i had a hard time figuring this one out but full size it pops out clearly. Lovely background. A sensitive gentle image.
