I like coming back long after a challenge has finished to enjoy the images for what they're worth outside the confines of the rules. It's interesting how different some photos appear when one is not having to vote them up or down. For instance, this quiet sample of non-urban life sticks in my mind. It has a persistence. In my own collection of photos, it is images like this which remind me of moments in time and they are valuable to me. Nice work - as is much in your folio...

Nice concept, but it's distracting having both views being busy...

Love the idea, but the scenery above the mirror is a bit distracting. Took a second to see the figure and that it was a mirror.

taking the photo to include the rearview memo, made this look like two photo's in one - nice job.

Neat. 7 ... I've got to reward this sort of bold experimentation more, especially when it succeeds. bump to 9

Interesting concept, but I'd crop quite a bit off the top. The sky isn't particularly interesting, and you have to scroll down too much to find the person on the horse.

Both the view ahead AND the view in the mirror have visual interest. I also like your choice of desaturation, but I think the images are competing too much with each other.

Took me a minute to figure out how this was done. I think using black and white tied it together well, and better gives the effect of two separate pictures.

It took quite some time to work this out, it looks briliant, perhaps a little bit more of the car mirror would have helped. Good shot

Fantastic shot! It took me about a minute to figure out what was happening. There's just so many points of interest in the photo, and I like how you managed to bring in perfect use of the rule of thirds so subtly too... I also find it interesting how the picture naturally forms a colour gradient - the top third is very light, the middle is gray, and the bottom is very dark. All very cool. 10, and going into my faves.

Nicely done. I've tried this a few times....yours has a better view.

I think the photo is trying to much...I like the idea, and understand the relationship between the cuved mirror, "mirroring" the wire or tubes in the actual distance...but the image is not strong enough on one position-good attempt

A different take on the subject but a bit too busy.

cool shot, I had to look twice to see that it's a sideview mirror. Very creative and the kind of shot I'd like to get! 8

Reminiscent of Elliot Erwitt - probably only because of the car door mirror. I think perhaps the composition feels a little too forced to function really well - the time it takes to unravel the image perhaps might be more useful as time absorbing the impact? Far more interesting than most, for sure.

Very nice idea well executed. Perhaps in an ideal world the horse would have been coming towards the wing mirror, but good as it is
