It was actually the Rose Festival Parade in Portland. People had spots taped off for weeks before and some people even camped out overnight to make sure they had a good spot. The people in this shot brought living room furniture. I didn't like how busy the shot was behind them so I processed it so that the bg was lightened and hazy.
