Day 9: Hair Brush
Handheld under a light. I would like to know what people think of the border, help or hinder? I thought the photo had a bit of a cinamatic feel so I was trying to add to it with the border.

good dof. Those perfect little moons are nice to look at.
The border works to contain it. Maybe instead of the thicker black border, just the default single pixel black outline?

The border works for me. Like how the one bristle ball center lower third is in perfect focus. Very nice.

Nice shot... good contrast and focus. I like that it's symmetrical, and those 2 little balls at the top look like the eyes to go with the big smiley face! I like the border.. helps to keep everything contained and matches the high contrast of the shot.

Great b/w tones on this very cool abstract. If you hadn't told me it was a hairbrush I'm not sure I would have guessed. The border works well for me too.

Awesome picture. The border is great. Not just one solid color too big.

I wish the info and comments were farther apart from these short photos. Nothing to do with your picture but it is distracting trying to look at the screen and forget about the stuff around it when it is shortened in height.

I really like this macro. I think the border helps the overall image greatly, adding to the abstract feel of it. Wonderful DOF, and you have to love the little ball that's a bit crocked! Creative idea.
