Wow a ribbon? I'm still in shock :) This was shot at the MS High School Rodeo finals. I'd been eying this spot all evening because I knew it made a great setup. The hall was never clear enough until after the rodeo when most people had left...This was shot at iso 1600 with the 85. I was hesitant to even submit it because I was afraid of low voting because you can't see their faces....Thanks to team DPC7 for encouragement.

Just stopping by DPC for a view looking through some of my fave photographers and I open up this one again. I think to myself "Ah yes - I remember this shot. I need to fave it." Too late. If I were this guy I would pay dearly to have a copy of this image hanging on my wall. Wonderful image. Simply wonderful.

I remember this one from the recent Candid challenge. This is an excellent capture. And it doesn't bother me at all that you can't see their faces. I prefer it this way. It's kind of like they're "riding off into the sunset" at the end of a long, hard day.
Congratulations on your ribbon!

I generally don't like candid shots without faces, but this is an exception. Nicely done and a great feeling conveyed in the photo

Such a wonderful photo. Iconic. Who says a candid has to show faces?

I really like the way you have captured this moment. I think the lights detract from this wonderful shot, and would be better if they were cropped out.

winner: such a great shot...(would like to see a tighter crop, perhaps)

I like this, I think it captures some emotion. If there is one thing I would change, I think it could be a little crisper fous(On the people), very good though

Such a lovely photograph, beautiful b&w conversion and the feeling of admiration of the youngest for the older person is almost tangiable - pretty remarkable considering you cant see their faces

Excellent capture of an equally cowboy-ish and sweet moment (which I don't think is all that common).

Forms make this image excellent. The story makes up for the lighting and all else that might be wrong. 8.
