I can definitely tell you used a flash here. It is washed out with white. Try a flash box made out of ordinary printer paper. I made one and it works pretty good. More Ambient light would be a great addition here. Also the eyes appear to be dodged, washing away the color and the black through the pupil. |

I think this is nice but would try to make a selection on the eyes and use either curves or levesl to darken them to the point tha the pupils are black again. I think you have nice deatil in the face. |

Like your DOF and the detail is great! Has a nice, soft look about it.

Now that's your stereotypical cat. We have 3 ourselves, so I like this picture. Since you used built-in flash did darkening the eyes include removing red eye? When I try that with black the eyes look so unnatural, but with the glaze and reflection you have over the eyes they look more natural. Good detail on the facial hair and whiskers. |
