 Took this shot while taking a Christmas Day stroll through my local nature center. I did 'clone out' a small leaf and stick from the background as well as few bright snowy sparkles that I thought were a distraction. Also performed minor levels and sharpening adjustments, added border, then submitted for the challenge.

The is a wonderful example of simplicity and capturing everyday things from the world around us in ways that show how beautiful and interesting they are. Great framing and depth of field, the colors seem about right, and the lighting works nicely. I enjoyed this one very much.

The leaf looks a little bit staged, but this is the best detail I've seen in snow yet...

Almost perfect, i like this very much. The composition is just great, the blur in the second field makes it look like 3d effect. very cool.

I like the shot, but the leaves give me the odd feeling that they are trying to get up and walk or fly - it must have been windy! Love all the shadows.
