I just found this and it's such a pleasure to find such an emotive honest image. I like the arrangement of the adult hands that have those little fingers captive it tells of the routine. I like the honesty of the fingernails that tell the story of someone that is to busy, too tired and has more important things to do than worry about their fingernails. It's a courageous photo, well done. |

Oh you hit my soft spot here. Diabetes is a dreadful disease and childhood diabetes is heartbreaking. I walk every year in my local diabetes walk to earn money for research. |

Why anyone? Interesting question, but it is not a very appealing subject....

Oh god. this nearly made me start crying. my 6 yr old daughter is diabetic, has been since she was two..I've said "why her?" more times than possibly imaginable. Thank you for this picture. and for anyone who reads this after voting ends...
