A photograph taken every 30 mins for a 24 hour period. Each picture to be taken by a complete stranger and then signed by the photographer. This project was born out of the idea that due to the common availability of cameras people are becoming much freer and comfortable with taking photographs. It seems that anyone who owns a camera now considers themselves as photographers.
Each picture was taken in and around london. The first photograph was taken at 10.28am and the last one 24 hours later at 9.58pm. During my 24 hours I encountered:
Two Celebrities (Daniel Radcliffe & Clive James), Four Drunks, Twenty nine male photogrphers, Seven non-English speaking, Two prostitutes, Four Street Cleaners, Eleven Tourists, Three Vagrants, Nineteen Female Photographers and Three Refusals.
I ate and drank:
Two Bagels, Can of Coke, Two Cups of Tea, Salt Beef Bagel, Two Bottles of Water and One Gammon and Chips. |
