I felt that the composition in this photo was weak. So much of the photo was given to the sky, the light, and the building, where the people are very close to the bottom of the frame and in some places chopped off. The top third of the photo seems wasted to me. I think the spirit of the crowd would have been captured better in a lower angle. Take what you can use, disregard the rest. 4, just-married

good lighting

Good photo. Color is good/focus and framing work, although, I think a little less sky wouldn't have hurt. 8 Swash

There's no way this shot could be candid... how in the heck did you get all those people to hold up their hands at the same time? That must have taken a lot of coordination. Since coordination is not candid, you lose! ummm... just kidding :) nice shot! I like this... it's definitely candid... good work ! = 7 - jmsetzler

would like to see more of the lower crowd. The lights are distracting.

i like the concept but I don't like the clutter. Also the light is rather annoying on top which distracts me from the expression of the people below. You know, one of the people that i am watching in this photograph is that young woman with sunglasses who DOES NOT raise her arm. I think i fyou were to focused on her with people in the background, it would have been a much more effective shot. 7 paganini

I kind of like this shot... but I am struggling with the "candid" aspect of it since it's a crowd shot. A shot with a hundred people in it diminishes the effectiveness of the genre, in my opinion.

great lighting meets challenge nicely

I would love to know more about what's happening. I'm sure that if you had moved your camera down a bit and had a frameful of these entusiastic faces, it would have made a winner. But as it is, the attention is pulled to the top even if everything is happening at the bottom.
