This is my niece Chaela. It had just finished raining, and the sun had broken through the clouds. We had gone outside to see a rainbow and she decided she wanted to play on the swing.

This was captured with my brand new 50mm lens I just received today. I was only shooting to get familiar with it and didn't really expect anything to turn out. Well, this was one of many surprises I got today!

Given how back she is leaning, a shot from the other side might have been more fun a shot.

I love that we cannot see her face because she is dissolved into bliss. 8

Gleeful. though since her (his?) shoes are so prominent in the shot, it seems as if they should be in focus.

Great POV on this shot, good good with the dof as well as the softer elements really help bring you in to the hands fand face

Nice angle but my eyes keep going to the green shoes and not her face...a split second earlier, a different angle, and a completely different feel to the image.

OK, this could of been a really good image, but the thing is, my eye is drawn to the subject knees.

I feel like I am a pedafile (sp) looking at this image.

The face gives more impact than the knees do, showing here emotion.

If you had waited just another second, and "anticipated" her swing, you would of been able to shoot her face, and not her knees.

Poor comp, great color, nice light, interesting dof, good texture

As for the title, I am not convinced of 'blissfulness'. Since you are forcing me to look at her knees, my thoughts are far from blissfulness.
